A class action lawsuit was filed against Best Buy company Nov. 22, 2011, in the Southern District Court of Florida alleging the company violated a Federal  statute, Drivers Privacy Protection Act (DPPA), “that protects the privacy of personal information assembled by State Department of Motor Vehicles (DMVs),” according to the filing.
